The relationship between the duration of Athlete’s foot and trichophytosis

It’s common to hear the people repeatedly get athlete’s foot throughout their life. What does it mean that the condition keeps reappearing after it has been cured?

Is it our predisposition or genetics?

Wrong! It actually hasn’t been cured

Even though you have visited a dermatologist, been given drugs and the symptoms disappeared, it does not necessarily mean that the trichophyton has been eradicated. Even if some of the fungi is left over, the condition will reappear again overtime as athlete’s foot. especially during seasons of high humidity.

Also, even if athlete’s foot has been treated, the fungus may transfer to the nail to induce trichophytosis, and vice versa. To completely cure the condition both trichophytosis and athlete’s foot need to be eradicated.
